HEART TO HEART

What if artificial intelligence was not something to fear, but something to steward? What if, instead of seeing it as a force of destruction, we began to see it as a tool placed in our hands by God, to serve a greater purpose? The world still belongs to God. Nothing exists outside of His knowledge, His permission, or His control. That means even this, even now, is not beyond Him.
AI has the power to lift people out of poverty, to create opportunities where there were none, and to give a voice to those who were once unseen. It allows ordinary people to become creators, to build, to write, to design, and to share ideas with the world in ways that were once limited to a few. It removes barriers. It opens doors. It brings visibility where there was once silence.
The question is not whether AI is good or bad, but how it is used. Just like any tool, it reflects the heart of the one holding it. In the right hands, it can educate, empower, and uplift. It can help people provide for their families, express their creativity, and walk in purpose. It can become a means through which gifts are discovered and callings are developed.
God has never lost control of the world. He sees every advancement, every system, every shift in society. Nothing surprises Him. If He is still sovereign, then even this can be used for His glory. Scripture reminds us that all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. That does not exclude technology. That does not exclude change.
Instead of rejecting AI as a curse, perhaps it is time to ask how it can be used as a gift. A gift that equips, a gift that empowers, and a gift that, when placed under God’s authority, can serve His people in ways we are only beginning to understand.
